Darts sensation Gerwyn Price has claimed that he could take down YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul with a single PUNCH.

‘The Iceman’ is known for his prowess in the world of darts as a former world champion and winner of three Grand Slams, has recently ventured into the digital realm by launching his own YouTube channel, following the lead of fellow dart player Stephen Bunting.

During a chat with talkSPORT, when quizzed about whether he considers himself an ‘influencer’, the 39-year-old Welshman said: “I’m definitely not an influencer. I get bored easily, as you can see. When I had time off at the back end of last year, I got bored. So when I’m away, I’m going to try and fill in my time and probably record a bit of the backstage stuff, behind the scenes.

“Giving a little bit back to the fans of what goes on behind the scenes because not everybody sees that, you know.” The conversation took a surprising turn when it was suggested that after reaching 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, it could mean a showdown with ‘The Problem Child.’

The Welshman was quick to laugh off the idea of taking on the 28-year-old, insisting: “That’s easy. I look forward to that. He’s a YouTuber; he’s not a fighter, is he? I’ve got 99,000 followers to go.” Regarding where the potential showdown would take place, the Principality Stadium in Cardiff was brought up.

With a background in professional rugby union, it’s fair to say that ‘The Iceman’ is certainly backing himself and believes Paul wouldn’t dare travel to Wales for a potential boxing fight. “He’ll never beat me in Wales,” Price said confidently. “Nobody beats me in Wales. He’d probably beat Canelo (if they fought in Mexico), but he’s not beating me, no.”

After months of negotiations and high hopes, the much-anticipated super fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford has collapsed, leaving boxing fans frustrated and uncertain about what comes next.

Late Wednesday night, The Ring Magazine delivered the crushing news, confirming that talks between Canelo and Crawford had fallen apart.

Late Wednesday night, The Ring Magazine delivered the crushing news, confirming that talks between Canelo and Crawford had fallen apart.

The announcement left fans scrambling for answers, with many now shifting their attention toward an unexpected alternative-Jake Paul.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks about a potential Canelo Alvarez vs. Jake Paul showdown in May. While such a fight may not add to Canelo‘s legacy, the financial upside appears too big to ignore.

Potential fight against Paul?

Matchroom Boxing CEO Eddie Hearn, who has promoted eight of Canelo‘s past fights, weighed in on the situation in an interview with IFL TV.

Hearn acknowledged that a Canelo vs. Crawford fight would have been superior in terms of boxing skill, but financially, the Jake Paul fight would be the bigger draw.

“He [Crawford] doesn’t yet have the profile of some of the greatest names of the generation,” Hearn explained. “He should have, by the way.”

In contrast, Jake Paul has already established himself as a massive attraction, capable of generating enormous pay-per-view numbers.

“What was it? 80 million accounts watched his fight or more with Mike Tyson,” Hearn pointed out, referring to Paul‘s ability to bring mainstream attention to the sport.

While Hearn fully expects Canelo to dominate Paul, he believes the event could be one of the most lucrative in boxing history.

“Even though I think this fight will be the end of Jake Paul, does it really matter?” Hearn noted.

“There always becomes an amount, and this isn’t just in boxing, there always becomes an amount of money where the answer is yes. Always remember that.”

People would think Jake is tough to surprise

Jake Paul is known for his tough, unshakable internet persona-always coming across as the baddest, the strongest, or even the wildest guy online. But when it comes to his girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam, things get way more interesting.

Jutta, an elite Olympic athlete, is a force on the ice, showing off jaw-dropping skating skills at lightning speed on TikTok. Her training and competitions are her main focus, so when Jake unexpectedly ran into her, he got a shock that nearly had him fainting.

An unexpected reunion shakes things up

Jake almost had a heart attack when he saw Jutta. She’d told him she wouldn’t be around because of a competition, so when he spotted her, his reaction was priceless-he nearly turned ghostly pale as he was totally caught off guard, something it would be hard to admit for him.

Of course, the internet haters had plenty to say. Some even suggested that Jake’s shocked reaction meant he was hiding something shady, maybe with some “undesirable company” or doing something he didn’t want anyone to see. His face lit up like a kid caught doing something naughty.

But that’s just the haters talking. Jutta posted a TikTok video showing that despite not wanting to be with Jake at first, she’s now just as into him as he is with her. After spending more time together, Jutta started to realize that the internet doesn’t always show the full picture, and that’s when things took a turn.

They started dating, and since going public with their relationship in 2023, it’s clear they’re completely smitten with each other. So, maybe the Jake we see online is just a character, and the tough guy image isn’t as real as people think-he’s got a softer side that’s all about love and this video might be one small proof.

She thought he was someone she wouldn’t want to be linked to, but things tooka surprising turn. Now she’s the one who’s showing the internet another side of Jake Paul that many didn’t expect to see.

Claressa Shields, the trailblazing two-time Olympic gold medalist and undisputed three-weight champion, has now set her sights on an even bigger goal as she sends a key message to her sponsors after stopping Danielle Perkins.

Known for her dominance in the boxing ring, Shields is one of the most marketable people in women’s sports and is aiming to expand her career even further by securing high-profile deals with major brands such as Adidas, Nike, and Under Armour.

“I think I want to keep fighting and let it set in at the very end,” Shields told Fight Hype, visibly emotional. “Because I haven’t gotten all my endorsements and sponsorships yet.

“I’m waiting to get the $20 million Adidas or $30 million Under Armour and Nike. I want to represent all these companies, so I have some work to do. I’m just gonna keep racking up the wins and the belts.”

Shields reveals who she wants as her next opponent

Shields faced Perkins in Flint, Michigan and proved to be the better fighter in a competitive bout that ended with a clear victory for the 29-year-old, as she took the WBO and IBF titles from her rival to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Perkins held her own but was ultimately knocked down by a powerful right hook in the final round, although it likely didn’t make much of a difference to the outcome as the judges scored the fight 97-92, 99-90, and 100-89 against her.

“I want to fight two more times this year,” Shields said post-fight, which could include a rematch with Franchon-Crews Dezurn and a potential clash with Savannah Marshall in the United States, which would send shockwaves through the division.

Danielle was strong,” Shields added of her rival. “She was definitely a problem, but my experience and my skills got me over it.

“I’ve been in plenty of street fights with bigger people, and I had to use some of my skills in that [against Perkins], too. So, when I dropped her in the last round, it’s because she got greedy.

“I actually think I’m going to have to have surgery on my left arm. I tore my labrum last week, so the fight almost didn’t happen. I didn’t want to let Flint down, but I really couldn’t use my jab the way that I wanted to.”
