Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens may boast a combined net worth of $27 million, but the lion’s share of this wealth belongs to the Olympic champion.

Biles, hailed as one of the greatest gymnasts ever, has earned her fortune through an illustrious career that includes 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals. At just 27, she is already the most decorated gymnast in history. Since turning pro in 2015, Biles has reaped significant financial rewards, amassing a net worth of $25 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

In addition to being one of the highest-paid Olympic athletes globally, Biles also earns substantial income from endorsements and sponsorships. Ahead of the postponed 2020 games, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist was the most-endorsed U.S. athlete, pulling in an estimated $20 million from various deals.

As a highly-decorated famous gymnast, Biles’ image and name carry significant value in the advertising world. Forbes estimated in 2021 that she earns at least $5 million annually in endorsements, which constitutes the bulk of her yearly income.

In 2022, Forbes reported that Biles made roughly $10 million, while in 2023, that figure dipped slightly to $7.1 million. Despite this, she remains one of the highest-paid female athletes worldwide, reports the Irish Star.

U.S. Olympic medalists are awarded $37,500 for gold, $22,500 for silver, and $15,000 for bronze. With her seven golds, two silvers, and two bronzes from the Olympics, Biles would have pocketed $337,500 just from her victories, a fraction of what she earns from endorsements.

Her NFL star husband Owens is also not short on cash. Now in his second year with the Chicago Bears, the 29 year old has made a decent amount of money since turning pro seven years ago, starting his career with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, and Green Bay Packers.

While his accomplishments may not match those of his wife, Owens has still had a profitable career, accumulating a total net worth of $2 million, as per his Celebrity Net Worth profile. Most of this comes from his NFL contracts, which often exceed the $1 million mark.

In December 2021, Owens inked a two-year, $1.175 million contract with the Texans, before moving on in May 2023 to sign a one-year, $1.01 million contract with the Packers. Last year, the safety signed a two-year, $4.75 million contract with the Bears, which included a $750,000 signing bonus, $1.5 million guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $2.375 million.

Owens, already a star in the sports world and named one of People magazine’s “Sexiest Men in Sports,” is raising his profile further with lucrative brand endorsements. His marriage to gymnastics superstar Simone Biles hasn’t hurt either.

Together, they’re power players in real estate, too. This March, Owens and Biles have been busy building their dream custom $3 million waterfront mansion in Spring, Texas.

The abode boasts four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, fancy frills like a mirrored ceiling, freestanding bathtub, and vast shower—not to mention an upper-level balcony. Besides having a home gym, game room, theater, and wet bar, their driveway showcases an enviable collection of luxury cars for the couple

Golden Wings, Golden Rings! And with this, Simone Biles continues her safari of love. After conquering gravity in Tokyo, the legendary Olympian is now busy conquering hearts. And we love it! The gymnastics queen and her NFL knight, Jonathan Owens, traded chalk dust for South African stardust on a honeymoon that sent Instagram into a collective swoon. And just as fans caught their breath, Biles dropped a teasing whisper of adventures yet to come—a cryptic promise that this golden couple’s story has only begun its first chapter.

Where to next for America’s royalty? The Mediterranean’s embrace? A Pacific island’s kiss? One thing is certain—Biles and Owens are far from done making unforgettable memories. And sure enough, Biles set the internet buzzing yet again with a simple six-word Instagram story. “Never in one place too long 😍.” The post, featuring a breathtaking view of the ocean below, instantly had fans speculating. Where to next?

She seems to be embracing every moment, proving that after years of dedication to her sport, she’s finally prioritizing herself and her marriage. This comes just weeks after she and Jonathan Owens jetted off on their long-awaited honeymoon on February 15, two years after saying “I do.”

Just look at how much these two were soaking in every second of their long-overdue romantic trip. On February 25, Biles shared a stunning Instagram post straight out of a travel magazine. Think of towering mountains, a shimmering pool, and Biles herself, effortlessly glowing in a red bikini, white shirt, and sunglasses. “What day is it?” she captioned. When you’re on a honeymoon which is this perfect, who needs a calendar? And as if that wasn’t enough, she has doubled this down now!

Posting yet another worthy moment has proved that their relationship is a fairytale. Simone Biles then blessed Instagram with a honeymoon photo dump that had fans captivated. From a stunning blue dress moment in Franschhoek, Western Cape, to romantic wine toasts with Jonathan Owens, every shot was pure perfection. Even if it’s an entirely new adventure, the power couple is already on to their next adventure!

Jake Paul has promised that for her upcoming July 11 trilogy fight against Katie TaylorAmanda Serrano will become “the highest-paid woman in sports history for a single event.” The previous record, according to Paul, was held by former UFC and WWE star Ronda Rousey, who got paid just south of $5 million to face Amanda Nunes back in 2016.

Paul’s ‘Most Valuable Promotions’, of course, represents Serrano, who has signed a lifetime deal with them. And while this trilogy card, which would be an all-female card, would be a big achievement not just for Serrano but for female boxing in general, the GWOAT, Claressa Shields, has some harsh words for her Puerto Rican counterpart.

“I only talk to undefeated fighters! If you’re not undefeated, please don’t talk to me! I’m bout to call Mayweather 🏆👸🏾👑,” Claressa Shields wrote on X. To this, a fan claimed that MMA superstar and her long-time rival, Cris Cyborg, had called Serrano the GWOAT. “You see cyborg calling serrano the gwoat? You gotta step down and get at her,” the fan wrote. We cannot find this quote attributed to Cyborg, but ‘T-Rex’ remained undeterred and laughed off the prospect of Serrano being the GWOAT. “She not undefeated either 😂😂,” Shields added.

Shields, of course, is undefeated and has a pro boxing record of 16-0, while Serrano is 47-3 in her career so far, with two of those losses coming to Taylor. But on the other hand, Shields is dealing with her own issues.

Claressa Shields has made her stance on Gervonta Davis clear following his draw with Lamont Roach Jr.

Davis was defending his WBA lightweight title against Roach at the Barclays Center in New York, with ‘Tank’ a huge favourite heading into the bout.

Roach surprised many boxing fans with an impressive performance, giving as good as he got and pushing Davis all the way throughout 12 hard-fought rounds.

Controversy arose in the ninth round when out of nowhere ‘Tank’ voluntarily took a knee, but the referee decided not to give him a count. Davis later revealed it was due to hair grease being in his eyes.

At the end of the fight the scorecards read 115-113 Davis and 114-114 twice, meaning that if a 10-8 round for Roach had been scored in the ninth, it would have been enough to see him crowned the new WBA champion.

Some of boxing’s biggest names have already weighed in on the matter, with multi-weight world champion Claressa Shields now offering her thoughts.

Shields is often regarded as being the best female fighter to ever lace up a pair of gloves, and the ‘GWOAT’ revealed on social media that she disagrees with those claiming that ‘Tank’ is overrated after his performance.

“Not y’all saying Tank is overrated…. We not gonna do that. I believe he had an off night vs a great fighter in Roach. And the arguing with corner and grease in his hair didn’t help. Draw or not, Tank still a bad man. Be smooth though.”

The drama surrounding the Davis and Roach fight may not be over yet, after it was announced that the New York State Athletic Commission is investigating how the ninth round unfolded, with a potential change of result not ruled out but an immediate rematch more likely.

Claressa Shields was compelled to relinquish one of her titles. She had to choose which of her WBO crowns to hold on to. The American boxer has opted to vacate her light heavyweight title while holding on to her heavyweight crown.

“Regarding the WBO Female Light Heavyweight Division, be advised Claressa Shields has relinquished her WBO Light heavyweight title,” Gustavo Olivieri, President of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), posted on social media. “Per our rules, No WBO Champion may hold titles in two different weight divisions simultaneously. Therefore, Shields remains the champion in the heavyweight division,” read the post.

The 29-year-old won by unanimous decision, dominating fellow American Danielle Perkins and knocking her down with a powerful right hand with seconds left in the 10th and final round. Claressa out-pointed Danielle Perkins early last month to claim all the belts in the highest category.

Shields has also been undisputed world champion at middleweight and light-middleweight.

“It feels unbelievable,” said Shields, who improved her record to 16-0, via Reuters.

“I had a really hard training camp. And just last Friday I tore my labrum in my left shoulder, so I wasn’t able to use my good jab today.”

Besides, she became the first female boxer to attain undisputed status in three weight divisions. It was truly a notable accomplishment as the “GWOAT” dominated her opponent in front of a packed home fan-base at the Dort Financial Centre in Flint, Michigan. However, these accolades may not hold if the claims of failed drug test are substantiated

Shields won the vacant WBO heavyweight title — and a couple of other vacant belts to become the undisputed heavyweight champion — on Feb, 2 with her unanimous decision over Danielle Perkins.

“But I didn’t want to call the fight off because I had asked God to give me a big fight in my hometown. He did that. So, I decided to keep going through with it.

“I feel so happy. And shout out to my opponent, Danielle Perkins. Man, that girl was strong as hell,” said Shields after the fight

The 29-year-old native of Flint, Mich., moved to 16-0 (3 KOs), and added to a career that has also included becoming undisputed twice at middleweight and once at junior middleweight, plus winning titles at 168lbs and 175lbs.

Elsewhere, Shields tested positive for marijuana from a mouth swab test. However, Shields and her team are adamant she was the victim of secondhand smoke in the arena.

Michigan’s athletic commission says Shields tested positive for marijuana after the Perkins fight. Though, Shields says she has never used marijuana — which is not a performance-enhancing drug — and suggested her positive test may have come from secondhand smoke in the arena or contact with other people on fight night. She has appealed her suspension, and the head of the Association of Boxing Commissions has criticized the Michigan commission.

“On February 13, 2025, the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, on behalf of the Unarmed Combat Commission, notified the WBC that an oral fluid sample collected from WBC World Champion Claressa Shields tested positive for the presence of marijuana [THC]. The Michigan Commission had collected a sample from Champion Shield after her February 2, 2025, title defence against Daniella Perkins,” noted a statement.

The trading card industry has long been a competitive space, with athletes from various sports vying for top spots in sales.

However, the latest WNBA trading card release has shifted the balance, with Caitlin Clark leading the charge in a market that’s seeing remarkable growth.

Catilin Clark dominates trading card industry

Thank you for watching

Panini’s February launch of the 2024 Prizm WNBA set has broken records, with prices soaring to new heights and Clark’s cards at the center of this surge.

Clark, a standout rookie for the Indiana Fever and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, has captured the attention of collectors worldwide.

Her trading cards have outsold the combined total of the next nine athletes on the list, a remarkable feat that highlights her prominence in the market.

As of now, Clark’s cards have sold over 2,100 copies, nearly doubling the sales of second-place Cameron Brink and third-place Angel Reese.

Despite Reese’s own success in the market, including a high-profile sale of her Gold Vinyl 1/1 card for $100,000, Clark’s value remains unmatched.

Her record-breaking Panini Select WNBA Gold Vinyl autograph rookie card fetched an astounding $234,850 at auction in December, setting a new bar for women’s sports collectibles.

This far outpaces the value of Reese’s cards, and even as Reese’s rookie card gained attention, Clark’s continued dominance is clear.

Beyond the trading card market, Clark’s popularity is also evident in her sponsorships.

She has signed multi-million-dollar endorsement deals with Nike, Gatorade, and other major brands, and her jersey sales have outpaced entire NFL teams.

In fact, Clark sold more Fever jerseys in one day than the Dallas Cowboys sold in an entire year.

As the WNBA continues to grow, Caitlin Clark’s presence in the trading card world is undeniable.

With her cards continuing to set records and her market value skyrocketing, it’s clear that she is not just a player in the league, she’s reshaping the landscape of women’s sports memorabilia.

While Angel Reese and others continue to make their mark, the spotlight remains firmly on Clark, who is poised to lead the way for years to come

Reese put up 22 points and grabbed 21 rebounds

Angel Reese put on a show Friday night in the 3-on-3 Unrivaled league.

The 2023 NCAA champion scored 22 points and grabbed 21 rebounds for the first 20-20 game in the league’s young history.

That was before she fouled out of the contest.

Playing for the Rose Basketball Club, Reese was posting up down low when her defender took a charge. The defender might have sold the call, but it was enough to get Reese, who had dominated all night, out of the game.

Reese thought the refs made a bad call, so she wanted her coach to challenge the call, and she was emphatic about it.

There was no challenge, and Reese was done for the rest of the game. Her team held on for a 72-63 win.

After the game, a fan of Reese posted to X to not “be on the wrong side of history” when her career is over, saying “Reese is exactly who she thinks she is.”

It was a compliment, but Reese seems to want her haters to keep on hating.

“no. tell them stay on that side. please,” she replied.

Reese was the seventh pick in last year’s WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky after a dominant career at LSU that included a national championship win over Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in 2023.

Moments like this between WNBA rivals don’t happen every day

Angel Reese and DiJonai Carrington have built their reputations as fierce competitors. Whether it’s in the WNBA where Reese represents the Chicago Sky and Carrington suits up for the Dallas Wings or in the Unrivaled league during the offseason, where each has demonstrated their skills on the court, but now, they have shared a hilarious moment off the court.

That’s why fans were caught off guard when a new video surfaced showing them in a completely different light. No trash talk, no defense, no high-stakes plays, just Reese and Carrington sharing a moment that no one expected. It wasn’t on the court. It wasn’t at practice. It wasn’t even basketball-related.

Thank you for watching

In the video, the two are seen getting ready together, playfully applying makeup and laughing as they experiment with their looks. At first, they draw playful shapes on their faces, sketching lines above their eyebrows before blending it all in for a flawless finish. The setting is casual, intimate, both athletes appearing natural, their hair loosely tied back, fully in the moment.

It’s not every day that WNBA rivals show this kind of camaraderie, especially when they’re also competing against each other in Unrivaled, the high-profile offseason league designed to highlight the league’s biggest stars. The tournament, created to give WNBA players a competitive and financially rewarding alternative during the season break, has featured intense matchups including some fiery battles between Reese’s Rose BC squad and Carrington’s Mist BS team.

Yet, despite their on-court clashes, this video proves that competition doesn’t have to mean animosity. Reese and Carrington’s playful exchange reminds fans that, beyond the rivalry, there’s mutual respect, fun, and moments of pure authenticity.
