Daniel Dubois is currently due for a Feb. 22 fight against Joseph Parker, and although there’s been speculation about another potential rematch between Dubois and Anthony Joshua, Dubois’ promoter Frank Warren tells Sky Sports that they actually prefer a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.

“The big fight that he wants is the rematch with Usyk. Very controversial [first] fight. Those four minutes in that fight when he hurt him – I thought it was a legal blow, I’m not going to go into all that stuff – but he hurt him and he probably gave him his toughest fight he’s had. I think he can beat him. I think the form he’s in now, I think he can beat Usyk.”

A win over Usyk could potentially have Dubois go undisputed at heavyweight and that’s the main goal and priority. Warren continues by saying that Dubois has reached his physical prime combined with an increase in maturity since his loss to Usyk and that’s why he’s confident things will go differently in a rematch.

For now, however, Warren doesn’t dismiss the threat that Parker poses and says that won’t be an easy fight for Dubois, even though he expects it to be a fight that Dubois prevails in.

Anthony Joshua could have missed out on the chance to get a fight with the Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker winner next.

Oleksandr Usyk Reveals Whether Anthony Joshua-Daniel Dubois Will Be For IBF World Title - Seconds Out

If Britain’s Dubois is victorious, he’ll look to take on Oleksandr Usyk, the unified WBC, WBA and WBO titlist, for an undisputed heavyweight world championship in his next fight.

That would be a rematch for Dubois, who lost to Usyk in 2023 in Poland.

Usyk did visit the canvas in that fight, from a shot that was ruled low. The Ukrainian took his allotted recovery time and rose to halt Dubois in the ninth round.

Dubois went on to become the IBF champion last year and knocked out Anthony Joshua in his most recent fight.

Despite talk of an immediate rematch with Dubois, Joshua, formerly a unified champion himself, will likely have to wait for another world title shot.

“First of all, [Daniel Dubois] has got to get through a tough fight in Riyadh on February 22 against Parker,” promoter Frank Warren told Sky Sports News.

That is no walk in the park, that’s going to be a tough fight. If he comes through that, he’s got a lot of options.

“But the big fight that he wants is the rematch with Usyk. Very controversial [first] fight. Those four minutes in that fight when he hurt him – I thought it was a legal blow, I’m not going to go into all that stuff – but he hurt him and he probably gave him his toughest fight he’s had.

“I think he can beat him. I think the form he’s in now, I think he can beat Usyk.”

Then Dubois would be the undisputed world champion, the status Usyk held when he first beat Tyson Fury before he had to vacate the IBF belt.

“[Going undisputed] that’s what this heavyweight thing is all about,” Warren said.

Warren is convinced that Dubois will defeat Parker. The New Zealander has claimed he can take the champion to breaking point in their fight.

But thinking Dubois will quit, Warren warned, would be a grave miscalculation. “[Jarrell] Miller did, [Filip] Hrgovic did and AJ did. They all said the same thing and he stopped them all. All of them. Stopped them all. Done it in style and come from behind in a couple of those fights,” the promoter explained.

“Against Hrgovic, you look at those first three rounds. It was a tough three rounds to get through but then he grit his teeth and showed what he’s about and it’s the same with AJ. Going into that fight with AJ, AJ was on a roll he had some good wins, the crowd was behind him. From the very first bell he [Dubois] was the governor.

“In the last four fights, including Usyk, he’s been the underdog and he’s upset the odds in three of those fights.

“Twenty-seven years of age, he’s matured not just physically but mentally. He’s showing what he’s all about. For the first time in five fights he goes in as the favourite, against a former world champion in Joe Parker, who is on a roll, a big roll at the moment.

“So this fight again is going to be something extra, extra special.”

Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker and the Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol rematch will be live on Saturday February 22 on Sky Sports Box Office. Book now!

Alongside newly elected President Donald Trump, basketball legend ‘Magic’ Johnson, and a host of celebrities, Claressa Shields too tuned in to watch Super Bowl LIX. The showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs promised every bit of the action fans expected. The Eagles turned the tables on their archrivals, securing a 40-22 victory at the New Orleans Caesars Superdome. But what’s a Super Bowl without its iconic side attractions? From the high-energy commercials to the stirring national anthem, and of course, the much-anticipated halftime show, excitement was in the air.

The star attraction of this year’s halftime show was none other than Grammy Award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar. But it wasn’t just his stellar performance that grabbed attention. An intriguing twist saw him perform his controversial Drake diss track “Not Like Us” at the halftime show sending social media into a frenzy. It didn’t take long for Lamar’s bold move to attract a wave of reactions across the board. Among those eagerly awaiting the show was undisputed heavyweight champion Claressa Shields, who was quick to share her thoughts.

Through its official Twitter handle, the NFL shared the short footage where Lamar signed off, saying, “Turn this TV off, huh? Turn this TV off. Turn this TV off.” In a symbolic gesture, as if declaring himself the undisputed winner of the feud, sending fans into overdrive, the words ‘Game Over’ lit up behind him.

Claressa Shields wasn’t done just yet. She continued to repost reactions and even congratulated MVP Jalen Hurts on his performance. But Shields wasn’t the only sports figure sharing her thoughts on Lamar’s electrifying set.

Simone Biles is happily in love with her husband Jonathan Owens.

The 11-time Olympic gold medalist, 27, shared a series of photos alongside her husband, the Chicago Bears safety, 29, on Instagram Wednesday, Oct. 2. She sweetly captioned the post: “struck gold with this one 🫶🏾.”

The photos seem to have been taken during Biles’ Gold Over America TourMilwaukee stop on Saturday, Sept. 28 — where Owens surprised her! She is currently headlining the tour along with Team USA gymnasts Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, Fred Richard and more in a gymnastics competition-meets-concert experience.

Meanwhile, she joined Owens in Chicago the next day for her tour’s evening performance and the Bears’ game against the Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field. (The Bears defeated the Rams 24-18.)

The gymnast’s post began with a photo of her kissing Owens on the field during a recent game. Biles also sported Chicago Bears apparel, including a white mini skirt and the Balenciaga duty-free tote bag. The final slide of the Instagram carousel included a video of the couple’s cute kiss.

In the next photo, Owens is seen supporting his wife at her sporting events. Biles posed in a shimmery leotard, seemingly in a backstage green room. Owens sported a Gallery Dept. stadium uniform shirt in white, which he also wore in the last two photos.

One image showed a selfie of the married couple, with Owens seen hugging the smiling gymnast from behind while kissing her on the cheek.

In another shot, Biles and Owens embrace as the gold medalist looks lovingly up at her husband, who smiles for the camera. Biles wore a white satin corset top.

It was a brief but blockbuster cameo. For less than five seconds in the closing moments of the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, as headliner Kendrick Lamar performed his Grammy-award winning Drake diss track “Not Like Us,” the camera flipped to the corner of the stage to show 43-year-old tennis all-time-great Serena Williams crip walking.

Williams’ appearance was notable for several reasons: Like Lamar, she grew up in Compton, the California city known for its significance to the history of hip-hop. Also like Lamar, Williams is not the biggest fan of Drake, to put it mildly. The two were rumored to have dated years ago, with Drake referencing Williams in his 2013 song “Worst Behavior” and again in his 2022 song “Middle of the Ocean,” in which he derided her now-husband Alexis Ohanian as a “groupie.”

Lamar even mentions Williams in the lyrics of “Not Like Us,” seemingly telling Drake he “better not speak on Serena.”

While hosting last year’s ESPY Awards, Williams teased, “If I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that none of us, not a single one of us, not even me, should ever pick a fight with Kendrick Lamar,” before dancing to “Not Like Us.” “He will make your hometown not like you. The next time Drake sits courtside at a Raptors game, they’re going to Forrest Gump him. Seats taken.”

Williams also has a personal connection to the specific dance she performed on the Super Bowl stage. It recalled her celebration at the Wimbledon court in London after beating Maria Sharapova to secure the gold medal at the 2012 Olympics. At the time, she faced an onslaught of criticism for what commentators described as crass and inappropriate. “What Serena did was akin to cracking a tasteless, X-rated joke inside a church,” Fox Sports’ Jason Whitlock said. Others, like Los Angeles Times sports columnist Bill Plaschke, suggested the dance glamorized gang violence. “It was just a dance,” Williams, whose older sister Yetunde Price was killed by a member of the Southside Crips gang in 2003, responded when questioned in 2012.

More than 12 years later, however, she still remembers the backlash, which defenders long claimed was overblown and racist: “Man, I did not crip walk like that at Wimbledon. Ooh, I would’ve been fined,” Williams joked on social media on Sunday night.

Williams’ Super Bowl halftime-show cameo quickly took the internet by storm.

“serena ate that” 20-year-old tennis star Coco Gauff posted on X. “You did that!!!” Venus Williams said. The official accounts of the U.S. Olympic Team and the U.S. Open Tennis Championships also gave Williams plaudits.

“For those of y’all who weren’t outside, the media tore Serena to shreds for crip walking at Wimbledon,” one user wrote on X. “Her coming back to do a dance that references a culture she’s actually a part of, during a live performance criticizing someone for being a culture vulture is *chef’s kiss.*”

Lamar also earned praise for including Williams: “kendrick bringing out serena williams to crip walk after drake stalked that woman publicly for years and obsessively threw shots at her for turning him down is so wild, that man is the definition of chaotic good,” one X user commented.

While others seemed to almost feel sorry for Drake: “Serena Williams crip walking to a song about you being a pedophile has to hurt existentially,” wrote one X user. Said another: “If my ex girlfriend was on the tv crip walking to a song calling me a pedophile at the super bowl my feelings would be hurt to say the least.”

Serena Williams is no stranger to the biggest stages in sports. From dominating the tennis courts for decades to being a staple at high-profile sporting events, she always finds a way to make her presence known. Whether it’s courtside at an NBA game, or making headlines at the U.S. Open, Serena knows how to steal the show. This time, she took her star power to Super BowlLIX, proving once again that she’s a force to be reckoned with even off the tennis court.

As fans eagerly awaited the championship clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, Serena made an unexpected and jaw-dropping appearance on the field at Caesars Superdome. Dressed in stylish athleisure, she suddenly took off her pants, revealing short compression leggings underneath, and took off running at full speed. Her athletic physique was on full display as she sprinted towards the end zone, turning heads with her effortless movement and undeniable presence. And just like that touchdown! A moment that few sports celebrities can boast hours before the big football event.

With Super Bowl LIX between the Chiefs and the Eagles as one of the most anticipated games of the year, the excitement was already at its peak. Fans of both teams were thrilled with the matchup between the two powerhouses. But the tennis legend’s unexpected run on the field excited fans before the game. After all, not just anyone has the opportunity to take the field and run at full speed just a few hours before kick-off. But Serena Williams is not just anyone, she is a global icon.

Serena Williams a tennis Legend, entrepreneur and Super Bowl showstopper

Beyond her legendary status in tennis, Serena is also a successful businesswoman, fashion icon, and devoted mother to her two daughters with husband Alexis Ohanian. Despite her packed schedule, she never misses out on the biggest events, and Super Bowl LIX was no exception. Whether she’s supporting athletes, making business moves, or just having fun, she does it all with an undeniable presence.

The viral moment unfolded as Serena arrived at the stadium, casually walked onto the field, and made a bold move taking off her track pants to reveal sleek, short leggings. She then launched into an all-out sprint, showcasing her speed and agility as she ran the length of the field. With each stride, she looked more like an elite athlete than ever, effortlessly making her way to the end zone. As she reached the goal line, she celebrated with a triumphant pose, flashing a smile that reminded everyone why she’s one of the most charismatic figures in sports. Few people can say they’ve scored a touchdown on a Super Bowl field, and Serena just made it look easy.

While the world of football enjoys the exciting clash between the Chiefs and the Eagles, Serena Williams has already made her mark on Super Bowl LIX. Her spontaneous run on the field showed that she still has that champion spirit, whether on a tennis court or an football field. While the main event was set to offer high-risk action, Serena reminded everyone once again why she is one of the most captivating figures in sport. Wherever she goes, she always manages to capture the spotlight.

Derek Chisora won again, and threw out three big names for his potential 50th fight later this year.

Derek Chisora did his thing yet again, out-working and out-fighting Otto Wallin over 12 rounds in an IBF heavyweight eliminator today in Manchester, scoring a win by unanimous decision.

Judges saw it 114-112, 116-110, and 117-109 for the veteran. Bad Left Hook unofficially scored the fight 117-109 for Chisora.

'HE'S HURT HIM!' Oleksandr Usyk vs. Derek Chisora | Every Punch

Chisora (36-13, 23 KO) has said he wants to do 50 pro fights, and this was No. 49, so the next one may be the last. And he’s fought himself into position, given how boxing works, for it to possibly be a world title fight.

The 41-year-old Chisora opened up a big lead in the fight by controlling the tempo and keeping Wallin (27-3, 15 KO) from achieving much at all, or even attempting to do a whole lot for most of the bout. Wallin was down in the ninth round on a right hand, and went down again just before the final bell of the evening, clipped as Chisora was winging both hands, as he did many times.

Chisora then presented the crowd with three options for his 50th fight: Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, and Daniel Dubois. The crowd was most positive about the Joshua idea, and least about Dubois.

Derek Chisora stormed to unanimous victory over Otto Wallin in “The Last Dance” in Manchester as the 41-year-old British heavyweight veteran signed off with his final fight on home soil. The stalwart of the division hopes to reach No. 50 in the summer as he looks to conclude a sensational, storied career. Earlier in the night, Nathan Heaney suffered a disappointing upset against Sofiane Khati.

Derek Chisora secured a dominant, one-sided unanimous victory over Otto Wallin in Manchester in what was billed as his final fight on British soil.
Chisora came into the contest with 48 fights to his name, with a hefty 13 defeats but a well-established reputation as a game fighter.
This was billed as the Briton’s final fight on home soil – perhaps No. 50 will be part of a Riyadh Season extravaganza this summer – and he came up against Otto Wallin.
Wallin was best known as the fighter that most troubled Tyson Fury – until he met Francis Ngannou and Oleksandr Usyk – drawing blood back in their 2019 clash. The threat to Chisora was real.
Chisora started brightly enough in the opening round, and stepped up the suffocating pressure in the second.
In the third, the 41-year-old made a series of hefty connections as Wallin looked too sluggish to cope, though in the fifth he inflicted a cut on Chisora above the right eye after an accidental clash of heads.
In the sixth round, the referee demanded some extra attention for Chisora with blood pouring from the gash, and the repair work appeared to assuage the ref’s concerns. The seventh brought the crowd to their feet as Chisora landed a flurry of blows, with the bell a timely intervention for Wallin.
In the ninth, Wallin was sent flying into the corner as he hit the canvas, but recovered quickly and rode out the following flurry from Chisora as the fight hit the championship rounds.
Chisora controlled the rest of the bout with measured aggression against Wallin, who offered little in return. In the dying seconds, Chisora sent Wallin to the canvas once more.
The judges returned a unanimous 117-109, 114-112, 116-110 decision to reward what might have been the most rousing performance of his career – so far.
The victory earned Chisora the nod in the IBF eliminator for the heavyweight belt, potentially setting up a huge all-British title fight with Daniel Dubois.

Uncrowned has Derek Chisora vs. Otto Wallin live results, round-by-round updates, ring walks, start time and highlights for the Chisora vs. Wallin fight card on Saturday afternoon at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England. Chisora and Wallin collide in a IBF world heavyweight title eliminator, with the winner earning the No. 2 position in the IBF heavyweight rankings.

Chisora (35-13, 23 KOs) has challenged for heavyweight world titles on two previous occasions, falling short both times. The British veteran, who will have his final UK-based fight on Saturday, shocked the boxing world with an upset of Joe Joyce this past July in London. Chisora has vowed to retire after his 50th professional fight, making this the penultimate time we will see him in the ring.

Wallin (27-2, 15 KOs) was a little-known prospect when he was picked to face Tyson Fury in 2019. Just three months prior, Fury had make easy work of Tom Schwarz and was expected to do the same against Wallin. However, in a shocking twist, Wallin extended Fury the 12-round distance and famously opened a huge cut over Fury’s right eye, which required 47 stitches. Wallin has since won seven of his past eight bouts, losing only to Anthony Joshua in late 2023.

Derek Chisora headlines The Last Dance card as the entertaining British heavyweight takes on Swedish big man Otto Wallin, topping off a night of exhilarating boxing at the Co-Op Live Arena in Manchester. The action is live on TNT Sports 1 and can be watched on discovery+.

ABDULAH-MILLER: ROUND 8

Abdulah starts the round well, then Miller comes back into the fight from the midway point in the round and while Abdulah’s work is often sloppy, Miller tends to land clean and then get out of range.
More of the same as Abdulah pressures Miller who is struggling more to keep his opponent at a distance, but he does land some good shots when the aggressor over commits.

ABDULAH-MILLER: ROUND 6

Abdulah looks to be getting through a bit more with body shots and short left hands and should take the round. Miller still having some success on the counter.

ABDULAH-MILLER: ROUND 5

Another tight round. Miller is boxing cleaner but is he doing enough in these rounds? Abdulah for his part is mostly punching air or gloves.

ABDULAH-MILLER: ROUND 4

These are not easy rounds to call. Abdulah is forcing the fight and pressuring Miller but is not catching him with many clean shots. Miller is throwing less and fighting on the move but is landing the higher percentage.
