Anthony Joshua has delivered his verdict on what he thinks the outcome of Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker will be later this month. Joshua, a two-time heavyweight champion, has shared the ring with both men who are due to meet in a title bout on the 22nd of February.

AJ beat Parker in 2018, delivering the New Zealander the first loss of his professional career, losing his WBO title in the process. Dubois and Joshua then squared off last September, with Dynamite knocking AJ down four times before he eventually knocked him out for good in the fifth round.

However, it’s not Dubois that Joshua is tipping for victory.

Anthony Joshua Backs Joseph Parker

The Brit has claimed Parker will beat his countryman later this month

In a post on Turki Alalshikh’s X account, Joshua backed Parker to prevail later this month, as the 33-year-old bids to become a two-time world heavyweight champion.

Parker has seen a resurgence under new trainer Andy Lee in the past 18 months with wins over Simon Kean, Deontay Wilder, and Zhilei Zhang. Much like Parker, however, Dubois himself has been on a great run of late. Dynamite has won all three of his fights since a controversial loss to Oleksandr Usyk in August 2023, with wins against Joshua, Filip Hrgovic, and Jarrell Miller.

As well as Joshua, former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury also believes Parker will stand victorious against Dubois, but that should come as no surprise given that they are close friends.

Joseph Parker talks to Sky Sports ahead of his upcoming fight with Daniel Dubois about his thoughts on the fight and his opponent. Parker says this is the chance to prove he’s worthy of another big fight and aims to expects to do so against Dubois.

“I know that Daniel Dubois is high in confidence and he should be off the performances that he put on but I’ve been working very, very hard quietly in New Zealand, I went to Ireland and trained, and now I’m here in Saudi Arabia and I’ve been waiting for this opportunity, waiting for this chance and been waiting for a big fight,” Parker says.

“So this is my time to go out there and show everyone what I’ve been doing while I’ve been waiting for a fight, and it’s my chance to be two-time world champion. So I’m taking it with both hands. I’m very excited for this opportunity and I know that Daniel Dubois’ going to come ready but I am as well.

“I do stand by (the opinion that Dubois could mentally quit when the going gets tough) however he has shown the ability to go through hard times in the recent fights he’s had, but as times do get hard can he still maintain that ability or will he revert back to type? So I’m looking forward to seeing what he brings but I know what I’m going to bring as well. I’m going to bring speed, power, accuracy, movement and I’m very confident in what I can do in the ring.”

Joseph Parker has warned Daniel Dubois against looking past him to a potential undisputed heavyweight title clash with Oleksandr Usyk later this year.

New Zealand’s Parker challenges Dubois for the IBF heavyweight world championship on February 22, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

The Briton confronted Usyk after the latter’s repeat victory over Tyson Fury in December as Dubois demanded the chance to avenge his 2023 loss to the Ukrainian.

“They’re looking at other fights in future but they have to get through this one first. I have trained the house down. If he is distracted, so be it and it’ll show on fight night,” Parker told Sky Sports News.

“I believe that all these things in boxing that happen are just part of boxing. I know not just him but his team as well are smart enough to know that it’s a challenging fight that they have in front of them. The pure focus for them, I’m sure, is the fight in front of him now.”

Parker has previously claimed that he believes he can force Dubois to quit in their fight.

“I do stand by that, however he has shown the ability to go through hard times in the recent fights he’s had. But if times do get hard can he still maintain that ability or does he revert back to type?” the former WBO world champion said.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what he’s going to bring but I know what I bring. I’m going to bring speed, power, accuracy and movement and I’m very confident in what I can do in the ring.”

That confidence stems in part from his recent run of impressive victories, which includes wins over Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder.

“With Zhang and Wilder, they’re good fighters but Dubois throws way more punches. He comes forward with a lot more pressure and he throws punches in bunches. I’m prepared for that version of what he’s going to bring,” Parker said.

“I do believe I’m a better boxer. But he has shown grit, he has shown toughness. He does the basics very well. But I do believe [in] my boxing IQ, my toughness as well, I’ve got a good chin.

“I’ve been waiting for this opportunity, been waiting for this chance and been waiting for a big fight. So this is my time now to go out there and show everyone what I’ve been doing while I’ve been waiting for a fight and it’s my chance to be two-time world champion.

“I’m taking it with both hands. I’m very excited for this opportunity. I know Daniel Dubois is going to come ready but I am as well.”

Tyson Fury may have announced his retirement, but there is still plenty of hope he will fight Anthony Joshua.

‘The Gypsy King’ revealed he was walking away from the sport in a brief social media post at the start of January. It came just weeks after his second consecutive loss to Oleksandr Usyk.

The first of those in May was for all four belts and undisputed honours. Fury lost narrowly on points. The second was for three of the four belts and saw the Ukrainian take the win again, handing Fury his second professional loss.

For many years, the former world champion was long linked with a fight with fellow Brit Joshua and it seemed the time was now right given that Joshua also lost his last fight against Dubois in September, leaving both men with seemingly nowhere better to go than this legacy-defining contest.

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, promoter Eddie Hearn outlined what must happen if the fight is to go ahead next given that Joshua – who has also lost twice to Usyk – is keen to fight on.

“When you talk about Tyson Fury, he would need to come out of retirement in the next couple of weeks to fight ‘AJ’ next because ‘AJ ‘is looking to fight himself, twice this year, first one in the summer, June, whenever that is going to be, then again at the end of the year. If Fury doesn’t come out of retirement soon that fight is not going to happen next.”

Right now, Fury remains retried with no word of any change of heart

Jake Paul’s younger brother Logan continues to make headlines. Yesterday he commented that he would destroy Gervonta Davis in a boxing match, now he has already set his new target

That’s right, it would be Lionel Messi, the Argentine and the content creator have a legal dispute over their brands of hydrating drinks, in this case Prime by Logan and Mas + by LeoMessi’s brand went on sale in June 2024, and quickly attracted a lot of attention, as the designs of the bottles were very similar to what Prime presented

Trade war between the two brands

After the comparisons and differences, those in charge of Mas + decided to file a lawsuit against Prime in a New York court last October. The people behind the project claim that they do not infringe the intellectual property of the product with their competitors

They even accused Prime of playing dirty in its marketing plans, and showed an analysis where customers differentiate between the two sports drinks

A month later, the lawyers for KSI and Logan Paul did not sit idly by and responded with a countersuit. They claim that they are taking over their trade designs and confusing their consumers because they are very similar

For now, the evidence is still being analyzed and there are no final results of the complaints, but Logan Paul returned to the subject and left a challenge to the Argentine star

Logan Paul wants to fight Messi

In a video posted on TikTokLogan Paul responded to a headline that he had been sued by Messi’s brand for copying him, the WWE fighter did not remain silent and responded true to his style:

“Brother, you copied us. Everyone has seen it, they saw what you did. And we got a lawsuit, wait a minute, this is unfair, obviously we did a countersuit. If you can’t beat the best, you have to be the best, but that’s illegal, that’s our design. We’re defending ourselves and that’s harassment?

This was part of what Jake Paul’s younger brother was saying in that video, and he also left a direct message to the Inter Miami striker

“Joking aside, I swear I would consider backing out of the lawsuit, only if…. Logan Paul vs Messi. See you in the ring brother,” he concluded the video ironically

A beach photo of Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian went viral as fans compared their contrasting physiques

When Serena Williams and her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, were spotted enjoying a beach day, the internet couldn’t help but react.

The photo, showing Serena’s powerfulathletic physique next to Alexis’ more laid-back look, triggered waves of commentary online.

Many fans highlighted the stark physical contrast between the 23-time Grand Slam champion and her tech-genius husband.

Some playfully trolled Alexis for being “outmatched” by an Olympic-level athlete, while others clapped back, reminding everyone that relationship goals are about love, not matching six-packs.

Tiger Woods has pulled out this week’s Genesis Invitational, as he is “still processing” his mother’s death, Kultida.

The 15-time major champion has admitted he is “not ready” to return to golf.

Kultida’s death was confirmed on February 4.

Three days later, the organisers of the Genesis Invitational announced Woods’ participation in the event at Torrey Pines.

“I planned to tee it up this week, but I’m just not ready,” Woods wrote on social media.

“I did my best to prepare, knowing it’s what my mom would have wanted, but I’m still processing her loss.

“Thanks to everyone who has reached out. I hope to be at Torrey later in the week and appreciate the continued kindness since my mom’s passing.”

Woods has not featured a PGA Tour event since last year’s Open at Royal Troon in July.

The American has not played regularly since being involved in a car accident in February 2021 and underwent more surgery on his lower back in September.

  • Jake Paul just bought a new private jet and matching Mercedes-Maybach SUV
  • Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson cemented his celebrity status
  • He reportedly made $40 million from the fight

Jake Paul just bought his first private jet, and a matching Mercedes-Maybach GLS to go with it.

Paul reportedly received a $40 million payday from Netflix for his fight with Mike Tyson, and he’s clearly decided to spend some of it already.

Don’t quote us on this, but the plane looks like a Dassault Falcon 900B, which ‘only’ costs around seven figures.

So it’s fair to say he’s still got enough left to pay for the fuel.

A huge payday for Jake Paul

Jake Paul was already quite wealthy, but his fight with Tyson definitely elevated his status, and added a few zeros to his bank account.

Paul owns a variety of expensive vehicles, including a Ferrari SF90 he very nearly lost in a bet, but this is something else.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS he bought goes for about $200,000, but a private jet like that can cost anywhere from $5 million to $10 million, depending on a variety of factors.

Paul shared both purchases on Instagram, probably because he also wanted to show his fans how these two new vehicles were painted with the exact same shade of ceramic grey.

Jake Paul’s rise to fame

Jake Paul’s brother, Logan, was an early Vine creator who successfully transitioned to YouTube when Vine died away.

He got famous, and rich, and it took a long time for his brother Jake to catch up.

But some would argue that the tables are now turning, and Jake is quickly becoming possibly even wealthier than his brother thanks to his breakthrough in what some people call ‘white-collar boxing‘.

Paul has a relatively good record so far – a defeat to Tommy Fury aside – but the fight against Mike Tyson truly cemented his celebrity status.

According to Fortune.com, most sources believed Jake Paul’s net worth, pre-Tyson fight, to be around $80 million.

It’s definitely higher than that now.

The YouTuber turned boxer may have waited a bit longer, but it was worth it in the end

t’s been a hectic couple of weeks for Jake Paul. Following what was an incredibly successful – from a business standpoint – event in which he defeated Mike Tyson in a boxing ring, Paul had his sights set on an even bigger fish to fry: Canelo Alvarez.

What once appeared impossible suddenly became close to becoming a reality, with many considering a Paul-Canelo fight all but confirmed just a week ago. But as soon as that news came out, it was squashed by Turki Alalshikh, who made sure to negotiate a deal with Alvarez that wouldn’t see him face Paul. It would have been the perfect birthday gift for Paul, who turned 28 years old on January 17.

Jake Paul purchases his own private jet

Paul has made his feelings on Canelo “ducking” him clear, while Alvarez is adamant that he only fights “real boxers”. That war of words will continue for a while, but while it manifests, Paul has gotten himself an even better belated birthday present: his own private jet.

Buying a luxury jet is likely a complicated and lengthy process, so maybe Paul couldn’t get the paperwork done in time for his birthday. But the timing seems like it may have something to do with the Canelo situation.

Paul could be trying to show Canelo that he doesn’t need his money from a potential fight, showcasing that he’s more than fine without it. Of course, Alvarez likely doesn’t care at all, as the Mexican has a net worth of $250 million.

The fighter and social media mogul shows off his latest high-flying purchase

Jake Paul isn’t just winning in the boxing ring-he’s cashing in, too. The 28-year-old fighter and social media star just added a private jet to his growing list of big-money purchases, and he made sure the world knew about it.

In an Instagram video posted Wednesday, Paul danced on the tarmac next to his brand-new jet, which came complete with a giant red bow. “Bought my first jet,” he captioned the post. “Went global cause I’m global silly me.”

Inside, the jet is just as flashy as you’d expect: sleek dark oak paneling, plush beige seats that fully recline, built-in TVs, and his own personal flight attendant. Oh, and just in case the jet wasn’t enough, Paul pulled up in a gray Maybach SUV-also wrapped with a bow, because why not?

Knockouts and net worth: How Jake Paul keeps cashing in

This isn’t just a random splurge-it’s a flex that makes sense for Paul’s current trajectory. His boxing career has skyrocketed over the past few years, and he’s cashing in on it. After his blockbuster fight with Mike Tyson on Netflix last year-one that reportedly pulled in 108 million viewers-Paul walked away with an estimated $40 million. Not bad for a guy who started out making prank videos.

The jet isn’t just about luxury; it’s about making moves. Paul has been busy positioning himself as boxing’s next big name, recently calling out Canelo Alvarez for a potential fight and launching a reality show with his brother, WWE star Logan Paul“I’m the new face of boxing,” Jake declared. “You cannot have the biggest fight of 2025 without my name involved.”

Love him or hate him, Paul knows how to stay relevant-and how to spend his earnings.
