Claressa Shields has made more history in women’s boxing by becoming the undisputed heavyweight world champion; Shields’ promoter reveals the American star is willing to rematch her rival Savannah Marshall in that division, but that must take place in the US or on neutral territory.

Shields, a two-time Olympic gold medallist, defeated Danielle Perkins to become the first undisputed heavyweight world champion in women’s boxing.
“We’ve had general discussions over the past several months and have expressed our interest in making the rematch happen,” Dmitry Salita, Shields’ promoter, told Sky Sports.”The fight against Perkins was a battle of size and strength versus skill and boxing IQ. Claressa’s skills in the ring are like a Picasso masterpiece – timeless, precise, and unmatched.”
Shields won her title fight with Marshall on points. But she dropped Perkins heavily in their final round and Salita says the American would knock Marshall out in a heavyweight contest.
