The pair sat down to announce via a video posted to social media that fans who buy the game are in with a chance of playing against KSI.

But that wasn’t the only reason for their meeting.

“At the same time I challenge him to fight someone in America,” said Alalshikh.

“We will discuss, me and him, about future opponents.

“But real fighters. Real boxers. Not 60 years old.”

KSI appeared to take a jab at Jake Paul’s controversial crossover clash with 58-year-old Mike Tyson, by saying: “Nah, I don’t. There is only one person who does that.”

Alalshikh replied: “There is a famous guy in England who is 79 years old and he is famous in boxing.

“I could talk with him, I have a great relationship with him, if anyone wants to use him.”

Once again, KSI shifted the focus back onto his bitter rival, saying: “I’m sure there is one guy who would love to take that opportunity for sure.”

Alalshikh went on to suggest that KSI’s fight could land on the Ring Magazine card he has planned for San Francisco’s Alcatraz Prison this summer.

“I am talking with him now and surprising him as well at the same time about doing something at Alcatraz jail in San Francisco in the future,” he added.

To which, KSI replied: “Yeah, I am very excited to see what happens.

“We have got some big things happening man.”

The former maximum security federal prison is situated on the Island of Alcatraz, located 1.25 miles from the coast of San Francisco.

It is no longer in use and has been closed since 1963, although the site has been converted to a museum which welcomes 1.5 million visitors through its doors every year.

According to Ring Magazine, Alalshikh is close to securing a deal to host the first ever boxing event at the prison, with WBO super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez set to headline in June or July.

Lopez’s opponent was not named in the report, although a mandatory defence against Arnold Barboza Jr or a unification bout with IBF title holder Richardson Hitchins are said to be the two most likely options.

Floyd Mayweather has shown off his new $402million purchase as his splurge into real estate has continued.

The American boxing legend has amassed a huge fortune from his time in the spotlight, including generating a record-breaking $1.2billion in total earnings from his boxing career.

Since his time in the professional ranks ended, Mayweather has continued to generate huge wealth despite no longer earning his lucrative purses.

And he recently announced that he would make his most expensive ever investment, acquiring 60 buildings in the Manhattan area, to expand his New York City property empire.

The value of the properties combined is $402m, and he has big plans to continue his investment in estate in the coming years.

Mayweather today confirmed he had officially become the owner of the 60 properties with the sale being fully completed.

“Just showing you a little glimpse of my portfolio.”

Mayweather’s portfolio is believed to be just the start as he looks to continue to build an empire of businesses.

He even posted a picture of a trophy confirming the $402m sale, with signature from the seller.

Since retiring from the sport in 2017, Mayweather has continued to spend big.

His fortune certainly hasn’t dried up, with boxing exhibitions against the likes of Deji and Logan Paul having generated multi-million paydays.

As a result, he has continued to live a lavish lifestyle which includes by throwing a week long party for his recent 48th birthday.

Despite putting down his gloves as a professional, his fortune continues to grow each year.

And astonishingly he claimed he makes $300m per month even in the current climate.

He said: “I will continue to give back to the sport of boxing in my time, and I will also give back financially because I got it.

“To my team, my guys in New York, and my other real estate team that’s here today, we can’t be stopped.

“In 32 months, I put myself in a position with a smart business team to make $300m a month. It all started from the sport of boxing.”

Floyd Mayweather is one of the most self-confident figures in any sport, and he has never been shy about stating his claim for being considered the greatest boxer of all time.

While many might name a heavyweight icon such as Muhammad Ali or a prime Mike Tyson as the most skilled and fearsome fighter in the sport’s history, Mayweather’s résumé is extremely impressive.

The 48-year-old retired with a perfect record of 50 wins and no losses after a 10th-round TKO win over UFC superstar Conor McGregor in 2017.

Across his 21-year career, he recorded 27 knockouts and won 15 major world titles spanning five weight classes, from super featherweight to light middleweight.

He was named the Boxer of the Decade for the 2010s by the Boxing Writers’ Association of American and he was twice named Ring magazine’s Fighter of the Year.

In 2016, ESPN ranked Mayweather the greatest boxer of the past 25 years.

“I knew from the very beginning I was the best in boxing, from day one,” Mayweather said in an interview to promote an exhibition bout with YouTuber Jake Paul in 2021.

“I just knew I was better than every other fighter. And to this day, there will never be another fighter better than me. Never.

“You tell me another fighter that beat 16 world champions straight. Just tell me. That’s all I ask.

“I was world champion 20 years.”

Mayweather also defended his decision to take on Paul in the exhibition fight, which – as it was unscored – ended in a draw after eight rounds.

“I would [rather] have the currency than the legacy, my legacy is already engraved in stone,” he said.

“They say, ‘Mayweather’s doing exhibitions, it’s bad for boxing.’

“At the end of the day, my mother’s a millionaire, my dad’s a millionaire, my children are millionaires.

“My little [five-month-old] grandson is a multi-millionaire and he don’t even know it.

The fight for the WBA lightweight title will take place on Saturday, March 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn

Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach Jr., in which Tank will look to defend his WBA lightweight title, will finally take place this Saturday, March 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

According to Tank Davis‘ retirement plans, Saturday’s fight is expected to be the first of three fights he has planned before his retirement in 2025, an event that was even at risk of being canceled amid all the confusing messages sent by Gervonta in recent months, after he said he no longer enjoys boxing, which is why he intends to hang up his gloves.

The highly anticipated fight between Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach Jr has generated great interest among boxing fans. Davis, known as Tank, is considered one of the best fighters in the world and is undefeated with a record of 30 victories at 30 years of age.

In front of him will be Roach Jr, who has already suffered one defeat in his career and has 25 wins, one loss and one draw. With a duel that promises to be very close, the challenger will have to offer an outstanding performance if he wants to take the lightweight title from the champion.

How much will Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach Jr earn?

As is customary in boxing fights, the official purses are not revealed until after the fight, but an estimate can be made based on their previous earnings. According to Sportskeeda, these old acquaintances from amateur boxing will be able to aspire to a good income in their first professional fight.

Gervonta Davis is said to have pocketed $1 million in his 2021 fight against Isaac Cruz, while he doubled in 2022 against Rolando Romero, although his earnings increased to $5 million from PPV bonuses.

In 2023, the purse was increased mainly because of his fight against Ryan Garcia, who thanks to his fame led the champion to a profit of around $50 million. However, everything went down in 2024, where he fought for $2 million in guaranteed purse, but it is said that it could rise to $10 million for the PPV, so the figure this Saturday could be similar.

Roach only earned $200,000 in his last fight against Feargal McCrory in 2024, so to face Gervonta he could aspire to a similar purse, which would be increased by bonuses and PPV.

Gervonta “Tank” Davis is gearing up for his next big challenge as he prepares to defend his WBA lightweight title against Lamont Roach. The highly anticipated showdown is set to take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Fans can expect an action-packed night as Davis, known for his explosive power and undefeated record, takes on Roach, a determined contender moving up in weight for this massive opportunity.

Roach has received special permission from the WBA to retain his 130-pound title while moving up in weight to challenge Davis. This bout marks Davis’s second defense of his lightweight title since his knockout victory over Frank Martin in June 2024.

Reflecting on their shared history, Davis noted in December, “Lamont’s got skills. Even at a smaller weight class, he’s one of the guys who I came up with in the sport of boxing, and he’s still doing well.”

The main card is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET, with the main event expected around 9 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the fight live on Amazon Prime Pay-Per-View, priced at $75.95 in the U.S. and £63.30 in the UK. Tickets are available through the Barclays Center box office and authorized ticketing platforms.

The undercard features notable matchups, including Jose Valenzuela defending his WBA super lightweight title against Gary Antuanne Russell, and Alberto Puello facing Sandor Martin for the WBC super lightweight title. Preliminary bouts are set to begin at 4 p.m. ET.

This event promises an exciting night of boxing, with Davis looking to maintain his undefeated record and Roach aiming to make a statement in the lightweight division.

The fight wasn’t without its tense moments. In the middle rounds, Beterbiev managed to land some heavy punches that tested Bivol’s chin and resolve. The crowd held its breath as Bivol absorbed the punishment, but he remained composed, showing incredible resilience. Bivol finished with a majority decision win, 114-114 on one card, but 115-113 and 116-112 in his favour on the other two, unifying the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF 175lb titles, all four of the major belts.

  • He had lost for the first time in his career when he boxed Beterbiev in October. Then he had become the first professional fighter to take Beterbiev the distance. Beterbiev had beaten him on a close, majority decision in that first contest, a result which had divided opinion.

It left them both fighting to decide ultimate supremacy at 175lbs once again.

But Beterbiev charged on. A thudding right hook hit Bivol hard and the two opened up with both hands. Beterbiev wanted him to trade and he hammered shots into him to start the fourth round too.

Rather than Bivol’s movement choosing where the fight was fought, Beterbiev was backing him up. Slashing counters from Bivol couldn’t put off the champion and he had to duck a big Beterbiev right hook.

Beterbiev chased him down in the fifth round. He went down to the body with hard, hurtful punches landing round the midriff. Then he directed the assault to the head as Bivol pedalled back.

But a stinging salvo of punching from Bivol broke through Beterbiev’s guard. He saw Beterbiev out of position and his cross snapped in, just as Beterbiev jabbed him back.

He had to be wary of a sudden Bivol left, but Beterbiev hunted for further openings.

Bivol however steadied himself in the seventh round. He landed his right early in the eighth round as well. Heartened, he pressed the champion with further combinations. He smacked Beterbiev with a flush cross and then slammed his right hook into him too.

Beterbiev looked to smack his cross through Bivol’s punches and the challenger moved away once more. Bivol though pocketed a brace of quick shots to the body and then caught Beterbiev once again stepping in.

Joseph Parker knocked out last-minute stand-in Martin Bakole in the second round on Saturday night after a heroic effort.

All the odds were stacked against the brave Congolese heavyweight, who stepped in on two days’ notice to fight Parker when Daniel Dubois pulled out of their IBF heavyweight title fight with a viral infection.

But Bakole got the call after his trainer and manager Billy Nelson campaigned tirelessly for the fight on social media.

The 33-year-old was in Congo when he got the green light from boxing mogul Turki Alalshikh and jumped on a 3,800-mile flight on the same day to Saudi Arabia.

Bakole’s journey was so long it required three connecting flights.

He first flew from Congo to Ethiopia, then to Dubai, before finally landing in the Middle East in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It was always going to be a big ask for Bakole to pull it off but his fans were left dreaming of a sensational upset.

Those dreams were subsequently shattered by a dynamite right hand that caught Bakole on the top of the head in the second round and sent him tumbling to the canvas.
